World Cocktail Day marks the day the word 'cocktail' was coined over 200 years ago in 1806, and we think that deserves a celebration!

TOM COLLINS


GLASS
Highball


INGREDIENTS

50ml Tanqueray gin / 150ml soda water / 25ml lemon juice / 12.5ml sugar syrup

METHOD
Add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice, shake to mix. Strain into a highball glass full of ice and top with the soda water, lightly stir and garnish with fresh lemon.




PORNSTAR MARTINI 


GLASS
 Martini Glass


INGREDIENTS

37.5ml Ciroc Vodka / 12.5ml Passionfruit Liqueur / 12.5ml Vanilla syrup / 12.5ml Lime juice / 50ml Passionfruit puree / 50ml Champagne

METHOD
Add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice, shake to mix. Strain into a glass full of ice and top with the soda water, lightly stir and garnish with fresh lemon.




OLD FASHIONED

Old Fashioned


INGREDIENTS
50ml Bulleit Bourbon / 10ml sugar syrup / 2 dashes of bitters


METHOD 
Add all the ingredients into an Old Fashioned glass full of ice. Stir to mix, and garnish with a simple orange twist.



TREACLE

INGREDIENTS

50ml Crooked Eye Spiced Rum / 15ml sugar syrup / 25ml apple juice

METHOD

Add all ingredients to an Old Fashioned glass full of ice. Stir to mix and garnish with fresh orange zest.



BLOODY MARY

INGREDIENTS
50ml Ketel One / 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce / 2 dashes of Tabasco sauce / 2 dashes lemon juice / 1 pinch celery salt / 1 pinch black pepper / 150ml tomato juice


METHOD 

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake to mix and strain into a highball glass full of ice. Garnish with a celery stalk and a lemon wedge. 




GIMLET

 Martini Glass


INGREDIENTS

50ml Tanqueray Rangpur / 15ml lime juice / 15ml sugar syrup

METHOD
Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker full of ice, shake and double strain into a martini/coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon or lime twist.
